Each player in turn lays the top card of his draw pile on the central pile of cards and announces the number of villains. The following players add the gangsters they reveal to those already present, up to 7. Then the count is made in descending order. If we put a card with a villain on the phone, we say “hummmm”, if it's a gangster with a gun we shut up. But the next player must continue the count, integrating the villains that have just been placed. When a player is wrong, he takes the whole stack of cards. You have to be focused!
