Welcome to Oshra, a kingdom torn apart by civil war. Emperor Keralon has gone mad, and his own daughter, Lemron, is leading a rebellion against him. In the power vacuum, the leaders of the five most powerful houses are gathering their armies. In Yield : Battle for Oshra (FR), you play one of them and dream of building the most formidable dynasty in the land.

Each player commands three armies whose strength stays secret, and moves across a tactical map by choosing action cards at the same time as their opponents. Recruit units, conquer fortresses and face your rivals in battle. When a fight goes badly, you can play the right combat card... or give up ground to save your troops. The game is played over 3 rounds, or 12 player turns, and whoever controls the most valuable fortresses wins. This strategy game of territory control features asymmetric powers for 2 to 5 players.

Yield : Battle for Oshra is for you if you enjoy bluffing and deduction duels, tight tactical decisions and games where every card played matters. You will probably enjoy this game if you like medieval fantasy conquest games that play in under two hours.

The game is set in the world of Oshra, 43 years before the events of Hidden Leaders, and it uses meeple armies and secret dials to hide your true strength. An expansion, Yield: Cousins, Curses & Catapults, also exists to extend the adventure.

Yield was designed by Andreas Müller, Markus Müller and Raphael Stocker, the designers of Hidden Leaders. The artwork is by Satoshi Matsuura and Luigi Sampieri Rodriguez.
