A Day in Vienna invites you to explore the Austrian capital through a colorful, joyful patchwork of scenes. In this 500-piece jigsaw puzzle, every street corner tells a story: a Viennese bakery (Backerei) with a violin on display, a cafe terrace where a couple sips a Viennese coffee topped with whipped cream, a grand facade inspired by imperial palaces, and the soaring spire of a Gothic cathedral piercing a starry sky lit by a crescent moon. Below, a carousel with a wooden horse sits next to a sausage stand (Wurstel-Stand), a fruit stall overflowing with oranges, and an orange tram gliding past colorful houses. Tulips, a leafy tree and a dove in flight complete this lively postcard scene, painted in a vibrant palette of blue, orange and pink that captures all the energy of a day in Vienna.

This puzzle belongs to the Holiyay collection, known for its variable grid cutting that eliminates frustrating false fits, its thick blue-core cardboard, and its matte, anti-glare finish that makes the colors pop. Holiyay's illustrated travel series features other destinations too, so you can keep touring the world one box at a time.

The artwork is signed by Myriam Van Neste, a Quebec-based artist whose richly layered style grew out of a background in sculpture and environmental art before she turned to collage and illustration. Known for her joyful, textured compositions, she has worked with clients such as Chronicle Books and Flow magazine, and her colorful signature style is instantly recognizable in this playful nod to Vienna.

Dimensions: 49 cm x 35 cm (19.3 x 13.8 in) once assembled.
