In Tolleno (ML), players help shape a growing Southern European city by placing tiles, constructing buildings and navigating canals with their personal boat. Each structure influences control of the districts, and every tile added expands the shared map in new and strategic ways.

Players compete to gain majorities, score immediate points with market tiles and position their buildings for optimal end game scoring. Once their boat is unlocked, they can reposition pieces, block expansion routes or create decisive tactical advantages.

When a player places their final building piece, the end game is triggered. Points are earned from district control, markets and special conditions from the player boards or central tile. An advanced mode adds asymmetric scoring rules for even deeper strategy.
