The Old King's Crown is a card-driven conquest game where you play one of the heirs to a vacant throne. Around you stretches an ancient, overgrown kingdom, from the teetering heights of the castle to the dappled light of the necropolis, which four factions dream of controlling. Each one has unique abilities, and the traits of your followers help you outwit your opponents.
Each round, you move your Herald to openly claim locations, then all players simultaneously place cards facedown in regions of the board. Once revealed, they trigger clashes: wins bring rewards that strengthen your position and, above all, influence, the goal of the game. After a set number of rounds, the player with the most influence wins. Between bluffing, hand management and anticipating your rivals' plans, every decision counts.
