On each turn, players choose one of two actions: gather new plants or grow one within their forest tableau. Plants must be placed in the appropriate elevation zones while other cards are discarded as nutrients to pay their cost. As space becomes limited, larger plants can grow over pioneer species, rewarding careful long-term planning.

Every new plant strengthens your ecosystem through powerful synergies and contributes to your final score. At the end of each round, animal visitor cards are awarded to the forest that best matches their preferred habitat, whether they seek flowers, fruit, or other ecological features. Successfully attracting wildlife becomes a vital part of your overall strategy.
