Peppa Pig (12, 16, 20, 24 Pcs)

This box brings together four Peppa Pig puzzles that follow, scene by scene, a full day with the family. The first, 12 pieces, shows a day at the park: under a big blue sky dotted with clouds, Peppa meets up with a group of animal friends (a young zebra, a pony wearing glasses, a fox, a sheep, a dog and an elephant) enjoying a slide, a swing set, a climbing frame with a tire, and a merry-go-round. The second, 16 pieces, is a sunny picnic: Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig settle on the grass with Peppa and George next to a red convertible car, in front of a table loaded with colourful treats (jelly, cupcakes and drinks).

The third puzzle, 20 pieces, takes the family to a funfair: a large elephant wearing a bow tie stands in front of an ice cream stand with a yellow-and-white striped awning, with a red-and-white striped fairground tower in the background. The fourth and final puzzle, 24 pieces, closes the set on a beach scene: Mummy and Daddy Pig in sunglasses relax under a big blue-and-white umbrella surrounded by palm trees, while Peppa, wearing a flowered sun hat, joins George and a friend holding a surfboard near a beach ball and a sand pail.

With this progressive puzzle format, toddlers start with the simplest version and gradually work up the challenge, a well-known way to build fine motor skills and focus from age 3 up. All four pictures stay the same finished size, which means the pieces get smaller as the piece count grows, a clever way to raise the difficulty without changing the frame of reference. The thick board and glare-free matte finish are common features of Ravensburger puzzles.
