The 63 U.S. National Parks are waiting for you in Parks 2nd Edition (FR), a hiking board game that smells of pine forests, campfire coffee and trail dust. Lace up your boots and shoulder your pack: two hikers, one trail and three seasons to live the adventure of a lifetime.

Each turn, you move your hikers along the trail and pick a site to stop at: gather resources (sun, water, forest, mountain), snap photos of breathtaking vistas, meet wildlife, fill your canteen or spend the night at a campsite. With your resources, you visit parks to score points and you gather gear to upgrade your experience. After the third season the hike (and the game) is over: whoever had the best experience among Acadia, Grand Teton, Mount Rainier, Crater Lake, Everglades, Denali and Canyonlands wins. An accessible worker placement game that also plays solo.

Parks 2nd Edition (FR) is for you if you enjoy light, relaxing strategy games that are gorgeous to look at, if you dream of nature and wide open spaces, or if you want a game that appeals to seasoned gamers and to families getting into strategy alike (ages 10 and up).

This reworked edition replaces the first with brand new illustrations and brings together in one box the camping module from the Nightfall expansion, the wildlife from the Wildlife expansion, and the gear, challenges and mechanics players loved most over five years, with a few surprises on top. The game now plays over three seasons, and the canteens, gear, Passion cards and trail die have been reworked. The box also includes a solo mode using the Ranger Teddy cards.

The game is by Henry Audubon, creator of the Parks series (including Trails, a lighter take), with illustrations by Josh Emrich and Lisk Feng, who present the national parks in vintage poster colors.
