On the box of this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle, dense foliage frames a clearing crossed by a small stream, with a village church spire rising through the trees in the background. A colorful kingfisher perches near the water, close to a goldfinch, a blue tit and a robin with its orange breast. A rosy bullfinch commands a branch while a blackbird forages on the ground nearby, not far from a wren and a sparrow. All around, in the bushes and across the sky, a magpie, a chaffinch, a jay, a wagtail, a pheasant and a barn owl complete the scene: every garden bird is labeled by name, much like a page from a birdwatcher's field guide.
