Ministry of Lost Things: Finders Keypers opens the doors of the Elusiverse, a parallel world where our everyday lost objects end up. Recruited as a scout for the Ministry of Lost Things, you must help Jenna: she has lost the carabiner holding all her keys and keychains, and her life immediately starts falling apart. Across five transmission envelopes, you decode messages, sift through a wealth of tangible clues and solve a variety of puzzles - ciphers, logic, wordplay and pattern recognition - to track down every key.
Each chapter blends beautifully illustrated documents, objects to handle and small cases to close. A tiered hint system, available at all times, makes sure no one stays stuck: the adventure suits newcomers and seasoned puzzlers alike.
You will likely love Finders Keypers if you adore immersive detective games, humour-packed narrative puzzles and heart-warming stories to solve as a team. Its cooperative mode shines with family or friends, but the adventure is just as satisfying solo, at your own pace.
To play, you will need a pencil and an internet-connected device, which acts as the portal to check your answers and unlock hints when needed.
Finders Keypers is the second case in the series, but it plays as a fully standalone game: there is no need to have solved the first box. Good news for sharing, a refill kit is included so you can pass the game on to someone else once the case is closed. The warm illustrations are by Nicole Gustafsson, while the pun-filled writing comes from Rita Orlov, Mark Larson and Chelsea Stark.
