Melodies (EN)

Melodies is a cooperative card game in which you form a band on its rise to stardom. Everything is about rhythm: you must play your cards in perfect sync, without ever revealing your hand or your intentions. Together, you build ascending or descending runs, or sets of cards with the same value, and the value played most by the group becomes the Melody for the current note.

The challenge is real: the order of the cards in your hand is fixed at the start of the game and can never be changed. To win a song, the group must empty every hand, and a single mistake ruins the show. Some songs add restriction symbols that take priority over the usual rules. A world tour campaign takes you from venue to venue, with evolving scenarios that change the rules at each stage and unlock new songs, new instruments and new audience members.

Melodies is for you if you enjoy limited communication games, where you have to read your teammates rather than talk, and 30-minute sessions to share with family or friends, with 2 to 5 players. It is also a great pick for music lovers, ages 10 and up.

Ten increasingly challenging Venue packs make up the game's progression, which gives great replay value for a compact card game.

Melodies was designed by Thomas Dagenais-Lesperance, a Montreal game creator also known for Decrypto, and illustrated by Brazilian artist Vico Santos.
