Welcome to the world of competitive fishing! In Lure, players secretly wager dice, then roll to catch fish cards worth points.
Bid fewer dice to act first, but risk failing your roll. Use more dice to increase your chances, but let others go first. To reel in a fish, beat its target number and meet any special conditions on the card. The player who gets closest wins the fish.
Play continues until the fish deck runs out. The angler with the most points wins the game.
Lure is for you if you enjoy fast, push-your-luck dice games with bluffing and lots of table banter. It’s quick to teach, highly replayable, and full of those big “cheer at the table” moments.
Fun fact: Lure is based on Dice Fishing: Roll and Catch, a Japanese design by Satoru Nakamura, reimagined by Allplay with upgraded components and art by Anca Gavril & Daniel Profiri.
