Built for life on the go, Lost Cities Duel (FR) throws you into a head-to-head race to explore the world against your opponent. On your turn, you play Expedition cards into one of five regions - the Himalayas, the rainforest, the desert, the volcano, or the ocean depths - always in ascending order, racing to build the most profitable route before time runs out. Every expedition you start costs points right off the bat, so you need to know when to commit, when to hold out for a better card, and when to steal the exact card your opponent has been counting on by drawing it first. This Mini Games edition adds Research cards and Exploit cards, an achievement-style variant you chase throughout the game that spices up every strategic card duel without adding any real rules overhead. The result: all the tension of Reiner Knizia's classic, packed into a box small enough to toss in a bag and play anywhere, wrapped up in about 30 minutes.

This game carries the signature of Reiner Knizia, one of the most prolific designers in board gaming, also known for titles like Ra and Samurai. The artwork comes from Dennis Lohausen and Klemens Franz, who bring the five regions to life with striking colors and crisp readability even at the compact card size.
