Welcome to the dazzling Paris of the 18th century, where high society competes in elegance through private gardens. In La Fleur, you play a horticulture enthusiast dreaming of transforming your château, currently rather plain, into the most splendid estate in the capital. Each round, you send your artisans through the streets of Paris to gather the finest flowers, hire extra help, collect coins, and commission new garden features: fountains, pathways, and lavish flowerbeds. Move fast, though, because resources are limited each round, and the first artisan to arrive always gets the pick of the crop. At the end of every round, your château hosts a garden party: visitors flock in from around the world, drawn to whichever estate shines brightest. Watch out if your neighbor's garden outshines yours! This board game built on worker placement rewards tight planning and a sharp eye for combos, until one player gathers enough prestige to host the legendary Grande Soiree.
