In Kragmortha, you play a goblin as cunning as he is nervous, sneaking through the private library of the fearsome Rigor Mortis, the Dark Lord himself. Your mission: quietly move your pawn between the bookshelves, desks and secret passages to grab pages of the Great Grimoire, all while avoiding at all costs the icy stare of the master of the house. A single glance from Rigor Mortis is enough to freeze the careless and earn them spells as ridiculous as they are hilarious.

The game runs on a movement card system that each player manages secretly, creating constant suspense: will you move just far enough to reach a tempting bookcase, or too far and get caught mid-stride? The Withering Look cards, drawn in turn to represent the Dark Lord's sweeping gaze, turn every round into a life-size game of statues, where staying still becomes a matter of survival. The unluckiest goblins get hit with hearty forfeits, read aloud and performed on the spot in front of the whole table, to everyone else's great delight.

A successful blend of movement, bluffing and physical comedy, Kragmortha belongs to the Rigor Mortis universe, already well known among party game fans for its wicked humor and absurd situations.

Kragmortha belongs to the Rigor Mortis universe, a Dark Lord born in Italy who shares his visual style and mischievous goblins with Aye, Dark Overlord!: The Red Box. The original game was an international hit, translated and published in about a dozen countries (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Poland...), before later being reimagined under the title Royal Wedding.

Kragmortha was created by a team of Italian designers: Fabrizio Bonifacio, Riccardo Crosa, Massimiliano Enrico, Chiara Ferlito and Walter Obert, who together imagined the mischievous Rigor Mortis universe. The colorful illustrations are by Riccardo Crosa and the studio Mad4GameStyle, bringing the goblins and their sinister master to life.
