JvH Junior #18, Le jardin de l’école (360 pcs)

This busy, comic-style illustration turns a schoolyard into a full-blown gardening project. In front of a red-brick building marked "SCHOOL," a crowd of small characters is hard at work: planting, watering, hauling round pumpkins and pushing them off in wheelbarrows. A giant beanstalk climbs straight up the wall to the roof, with a kid scrambling up it, a clear nod to Jack and the Beanstalk. A mini digger putters near the entrance, rabbits dart between the vegetable rows, birds swirl overhead, and a scarecrow keeps watch while a red-roofed greenhouse rounds out this crowded scene, packed with little visual jokes waiting to be spotted one by one.

The School Garden is for you if you love pictures where a hundred things are happening at once and every corner of the box hides another funny detail to discover as you piece it together.

This puzzle belongs to the JvH Junior line, a version built for young fans of busy, humour-packed scenes, with bigger pieces and a piece count sized to their age. The box, made from 100% recycled cardboard, proudly carries the number 18 of the series.

Dutch illustrator Wilma van den Bosch drew this school garden scene. Since joining the studio in 2022 to draw the Junior puzzles, she has brought her own cheerful, colourful style to the line, often featuring characters with rosy pink cheeks and a small signature detail tucked somewhere in the image.
