JvH, Calendrier Avent 2026 (24 x 42 pcs)

Here's a playful way to count down to Christmas: this advent calendar gathers 24 mini puzzles of 54 pieces each, one for every day of December. Every morning, open a new numbered compartment and piece together that day's small puzzle, for a grand total of 1296 pieces by month's end. The box art sets the tone: a snow-covered Christmas market square packed with busy characters and comic mishaps in classic Jan van Haasteren style. You'll spot a huge decorated Christmas tree at the center of a courtyard ringed by lit-up buildings, a snack stand, an elf-run market with farm animals, a snowball fight gone sideways, patrolling police officers, passersby slipping on the ice, and a crowd of small comic details tucked into every corner. It's exactly the kind of spirit Jan van Haasteren's illustrations are famous for: scenes bursting with life and visual gags, where every completed piece reveals another little wink.

The puzzle advent calendar concept has become a holiday classic for enthusiasts: instead of chocolate, you unwrap a small creative challenge every day, a calm and satisfying activity to share as a family throughout December. Illustrations signed by Jan van Haasteren are known worldwide for their dense, humorous comic-strip style, packing dozens of characters into frantic action on every scene, a signature the artist has honed over decades in his puzzles for adults and families alike.
