Around the table, tension builds with every card flipped. In Hii Fuu (FR), a trick-taking game born in Japan, the goal is not to sweep every trick: you must win exactly two tricks, no more, no less. A third trick eliminates you from the round and wipes out your chance to score; ending with only one trick lets the scoring token slip away too. Before the first card is even played, you build your ideal hand by discarding a good chunk of what you were dealt, a choice that shapes the entire round and keeps every session different. Quick to explain and brutally tense, Hii Fuu plays out over five rounds maximum (or until someone reaches 10 points), making it a perfect party game for a fast-paced game night.

The original mechanics of Hii Fuu were designed by Japanese creator Yozaemon Matumoto, while the artwork for this edition was reimagined by Doriane Frache. A game that proves the cleverest ideas can fit inside a very small box.
