Hedge Mage (EN)

Hedge Mage is a clever strategy board game where players compete in a whimsical wizard showdown. Your goal is to collect gnomes from your rival’s garden while protecting your own using a maze you build piece by piece.

Each round is divided into two simultaneous phases. First, players place hedge tiles to shape their maze, block opponents and generate movement points. Then, they send their mages into a neighboring garden to awaken and rescue gnomes while defending their own territory.

The gameplay combines polyomino placement with tactical movement. Every hedge tile placement affects both your defensive layout and your ability to move efficiently through your opponent’s maze.

Gnomes must first be awakened using specific enchantment conditions before they can be rescued. Once awakened, they can be carried by mages and brought through tunnels to safety, earning valuable points.

Players must constantly balance offense and defense, making smart use of movement points, special tokens and evolving maze layouts to outmaneuver their rivals.

Hedge Mage is perfect for players who enjoy strategy games, spatial puzzles and interactive gameplay. With simultaneous turns and variable setups, every game offers a fresh challenge.
