Forest Shuffle (EN)

Forest Shuffle invites you to grow a forest, card by card, until it feels alive under your fingertips. In this light strategy card game for 2 to 5 players, you start with a single tree and watch it expand as you tuck plant and animal cards along its sides. Every plant-and-wildlife card splits into two halves: you must choose carefully which half stays in play and which slides beneath a tree, honoring each creature's preferences to score the most points. The round ends the instant the third winter card is drawn, revealing who built the richest, best-balanced living forest ecosystem.

Forest Shuffle won the Deutscher Spiele Preis 2024, the most prestigious publicly-voted award in Germany, and the same year made the Kennerspiel des Jahres recommendation list. It's produced entirely plastic-free on FSC-certified paper, proving a game about nature can respect it too.

The game is designed by Kosch, who broke through with this second design after his debut FYFE, while the vivid illustrations bringing every fox, woodpecker and butterfly to life come from the duo Toni Llobet and Judit Piella.
