Fish in Fuchsia (500 pcs)

Fish in Fuchsia pulls you into a swirl of multicolored fish that fill the entire image, packed together like an endless school of fish. Each fish carries its own pattern, dots, stripes, spirals or fanciful scales, in an electric palette of fuchsia, orange, purple, turquoise and green. No background competes for attention: only the fish fill the space, layered and intertwined in a dense, vibrant composition that recalls textile art. The overall effect is almost hypnotic, a real challenge for the eye as much as for the hands once the pieces are scattered across the table.

This 500-piece jigsaw puzzle was completed during the Pairs Division Final Round of the 2025 USA Jigsaw Nationals, the major American speed-puzzling competition.

The artwork is by Noemi Ibarz, a Spanish artist trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona who specialized in engraving and spent fifteen years in textile design and screen printing before turning to gouache and acrylic painting.
