The Spirits have watched over Alula for millennia, and your travels have sharpened your senses: you can finally feel their presence. Faraway - Beyond the Veil is a card game expansion that adds shared objectives to your game in the form of 13 Spirit cards. Each card shows a condition to meet. The first player to complete it slips the Spirit under the last Region card they played, earning new resources and points. If you already met the conditions when the Spirit appears, you can even build on it further. Every turn becomes a small race where you have to plan ahead, since the base game's reverse resolution scores your last cards first.

Beyond the Veil is for you if you already know Faraway and want new synergies, new symbols and a little extra competition between players, without making the rules heavier. You will also enjoy this expansion if you like fast strategy card games that play just as well with 2 as with 6 players.

This is the third expansion in the Faraway series, after People from Below and Under Starry Skies. It was designed by Corentin Lebrat and Johannes Goupy, the authors of the base game, and illustrated by Maxime Morin.

This expansion cannot be played on its own: the base game Faraway is required to play it.
