Arcana Unleashed pulls Dungeons & Dragons tables into the heart of high magic: this official sourcebook casts Alustriel Silverhand, a powerful archmage and one of the Seven Sisters, as the host presenting arcana gathered from across the multiverse. Released as part of the 2026 Season of Magic alongside the companion book Deadfall (centered on the Red Wizards of Thay and the lich Szass Tam), this book ties its six chapters and appendix together into a genuine high-magic toolkit, useful for players hunting new options and for Dungeon Masters building worlds where magic changes everything.

The book opens with character options: eight new subclasses spanning the cleric, fighter, monk, warlock and four wizard traditions, paired with ten faction-tied backgrounds and more than twenty-five feats. Next come more than thirty-three new and revised spells, a chapter of tools for creating magical worlds (including a group patron system applied to five existing settings), then nine playable arcane factions, each with its own renown rewards and patron perks. The book closes with forty-seven magic items, including two new artifacts and an evolving magic item system, nineteen brand-new magical creatures, and a level 1 introductory adventure, Tomb of the Shadow Serpents, ready to play in one or two sessions.
