Mr. Frosty Dice - 7D Set

Mr. Frosty was born one December morning at the top of the Frosted Peaks. It was Elsa, the sorceress who freezes everything she touches, who sculpted him so she’d have a little company. A carrot for a nose, a top hat, and seven blue ice buttons engraved with golden bells and fir trees.

Mr. Frosty was polite, cheerful and very well dressed. He had only one dream: to see summer. He had heard about it from the migrating birds. The sun. The flowers. Ice cream (which, in his opinion, had to be a distant cousin).

(The Dungeon Master, checking their notes: A snowman asks you for directions south. Roll Insight. Yes, he knows what’s going to happen. No, it doesn’t discourage him.)

Elsa tried to convince him to stay. She couldn’t go with him: whenever she came near a warm place, it started to snow. Mr. Frosty took his umbrella, put on sunglasses and set off south, one step at a time, sliding a lot.

He walked for weeks. He lost a bit of height. Then a bit more. By the time he reached Saint-Glinglin’s great summer festival, he was about the size of a cat. But he saw everything. The sun. The flowers. Children dancing. And ice cream. He cried with joy, which, for a snowman, did not help at all.

That’s when a huge snowstorm hit the festival. In the middle of July. Elsa had arrived, worried sick, and as soon as she saw he was safe, she was so relieved that it snowed over the whole village. Mr. Frosty got his size back in three minutes. The children had a snowball fight in their swimsuits.

(The Dungeon Master, with a smirk: Mr. Frosty now spends his summers in the icebox of the Thirsty Dwarf tavern. He comes out for one hour a day. With a parasol. And an ice cream.)

During the journey, he had lost his seven blue ice buttons, engraved in gold, which refused to melt. The Mr. Frosty dice were born.
