Ruby Rouge Dice - 36D6 Set

Ruby was a tiny red dragon. So tiny she fit in a teapot. But like every dragon, she had a dream: a treasure hoard. A real one. A pile of rubies to sleep on.

The problem was, rubies are expensive. And she was too small to attack a castle.

(The Dungeon Master, without looking up from the screen: Ruby breathes fire on the knight. She deals 1 point of fire damage. The knight lights his pipe with it. He thanks her.)

So she decided to visit Bartholomé, the cyclops who guards the Cave of a Thousand Treasures. He never blinks anymore since he was robbed, but he has a soft spot for little creatures. Ruby asked him for just one ruby. Only one.

Bartholomé thought for a long time (without blinking). Then he offered a deal: a game of dice. If she won, she could choose a ruby. Ruby lost. She cried little tears of fire that melted a mountain of pink and white quartz. It all cooled into thirty-six little red and white cubes, glittering like gemstones.

(The Dungeon Master, writing it down in their notebook: Ruby now sleeps on 36 dice. She says it’s much more comfortable than rubies. Bartholomé is very moved.)
