L'atelier de St. Nick Dice - 36D6 Set

Every year, at the North Pole, St. Nick’s workshop receives millions of letters. Requests for dolls, trains, spinning tops. And, more and more, one very specific request: “Dice. Lots of dice.”

This year, one letter was particularly insistent. It came from Kevin, the young wizard at the Academy of Magic (yes, the one with the candy and the strawberry milk). It was twelve pages long. It said “36 dice” 36 times.

(The Dungeon Master, checking their notes: Was Kevin good this year? Roll Charisma. With disadvantage. We all saw what he did in the cafeteria.)

The elves debated for a long time. St. Nick finally decided: “Everyone deserves dice. Even Kevin.” So the elves melted red Christmas baubles and green fir branches in the workshop’s big cauldron, with a pinch of snow for the pips.

On Christmas morning, Kevin found thirty-six little red and green dice under his tree, marbled like wrapping paper. He screamed so loud they heard him at the North Pole.

(The Dungeon Master, with a smirk: Dame Fraisine confiscated the dice at breakfast. He got them back at supper. He was good. For three hours.)
