Bouclier de bénédiction Dice - 12D6 Set

Sister Bénédicte was the most enthusiastic paladin in the kingdom. She blessed everything. Swords, armour, horses, doors, apple pies, the temple cat. Once, she blessed a mimic by mistake. It is now very devout.

One morning, Ti-Guy the barbarian (yes, the one with the demon altar) showed up at the temple with twelve shields. All smashed. “I kinda used them as clubs,” he explained.

(The Dungeon Master, without looking up from the screen: Sister Bénédicte casts Bless. Then again. Then again. Nobody has the heart to tell her there’s a daily limit.)

She blessed the twelve shields once. Ten times. A hundred times. So many times that the holy light made them shrink, shine and turn pearly white, until all that was left were twelve little cubes, each engraved with a golden shield.

Ti-Guy stared at them for a long time. “Well. I can’t fight with these anymore.”

(The Dungeon Master, writing it down in their notebook: No, Ti-Guy. But you can roll them for damage. Twelve D6. You’re going to love it.)

The Bouclier de bénédiction dice (“shield of blessing”) were born. Ti-Guy loves them: he says it’s the first time shields have helped him deal this much damage. Sister Bénédicte still blesses them every Sunday. Just in case.
