Journey into the Forgotten Realms with Adventures in Faerun, a massive sourcebook built to fuel your Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition campaigns. This guide for the Dungeon Master opens the door to five settings with wildly different moods: from the frozen survival horror of Icewind Dale to the fast-paced urban fantasy of Baldur's Gate, all the way to lands of high magic. Every setting ships with its own Gazetteer, so you can drop your players into a distinct corner of Faerun without inventing everything from scratch.

The book opens with an introductory adventure, "The Lost Library of Lethchauntos," built for level 1 to 3 characters and adaptable to any of the five settings. From there you get more than 50 ready to play adventures spanning levels 1 through 15, each designed to fit into a single session: perfect for a Dungeon Master short on prep time, or for building a long campaign one encounter at a time.

The sourcebook also adds 37 new monsters and villains to throw at your party, 12 new magic items to uncover, and a Bastion system unique to each setting, letting your players build a stronghold that fits the region they are exploring. The whole thing is backed by 51 illustrated maps to help you picture every location.
