Welcome aboard, rookie: you have just been hired as a freelance space photographer for Cosmolancer, the game that sends you to the far edges of the galaxy! Your mission is to bring back the most breathtaking shots in the cosmos before your rivals, all while dodging the hazards lurking around every star.

Turn after turn, you will place Photo Op tiles, Hazard tiles and Imaging Devices on a 6x5 grid to build the best shot possible. Every space matters: one wrong move can ruin your picture, while a clever placement multiplies your gains.

Cosmolancer is the space-themed edition of the celebrated Kingdoms, itself born from the classic German game Auf Heller und Pfennig, released in 1994: three decades later, Reiner Knizia sends his signature tile-placement design to the stars, wrapped in vivid art and cosmic humor.

Over three rounds, you place numbered tokens to multiply the value of the tiles lined up in their row and column, all while trying to dodge Hazard tiles like the dreaded Abominable Worm or the Cosmopoachers out to sabotage your shots. Whoever collects the most Interstellar Credits wins the assignment and becomes the new legend of stellar photography.
