The cold is settling in, and your cafe is the refuge every customer is looking for! In Coffee Rush - Winter, you are a barista in the middle of the rush: you move around the board to collect ingredients, prepare seasonal drinks and serve orders as fast as you can. Every completed order earns you a "like" card and points, but if you fall behind, unhappy customers leave you "dislike" cards that count against your final score. The game ends when the order deck runs out or a barista collects five penalties, and the best barista of the winter wins.

This winter edition is a standalone game based on Coffee Rush, with the same race-against-the-clock tension you find in team cooking games. The ingredient tiles are now modular: the setup changes from one game to the next, so you have to rethink your movements every time. The menu grows with winter drinks, orange slices join the ingredients, the ice tokens are shaped like snowmen and the rush tokens become cookies. Each game, you choose four of the six available upgrade tiles. As for scoring, every "like" card is worth 2 points, every activated upgrade is worth 5, and every "dislike" card costs you 1 point.

Coffee Rush - Winter is for you if you enjoy fast-moving family board games where you must plan your movements while keeping your cool as orders pile up. You will probably enjoy this game if you like the warm atmosphere of a cafe, games of 30 to 40 minutes and small upgrades that make every game different.
