ClueBox / The Trial of Camelot (ML)

Kingdom of Logres, the very beginning of the 6th century. The aging King Arthur asks the mage Merlin to find a knight worthy of the quest for the Grail: it will be whoever manages to pull out the king's sword. Several knights renowned for their strength fail, until Galahad passes the trial and is proclaimed the greatest knight of all time. It is now up to you to take on the Trial of Camelot and measure yourself against his legend.

This puzzle belongs to the ClueBox series, a line of miniature escape rooms solved entirely by hand, with no app and no electronic timer. It holds 195 wooden pieces assembled without glue: gears, levers, drawers and sliding panels connect through clues engraved on all six faces of the cube to disarm, one by one, the locks guarding the secret compartment. Expect 60 to 90 minutes to crack the puzzle, solo or with a partner, ages 14 and up. Once solved, the mechanism resets thanks to the included instructions, so the puzzle box can circulate among friends or family without ever spoiling the surprise.

The Trial of Camelot is the fourth ClueBox in the series, one of the most piece-packed in the collection, with mechanisms that call on all six faces of the cube in turn and a surprise reserved for players who reach the very end of the puzzle. The puzzle box is designed and made by iDventure, a German studio specializing in wooden puzzle boxes inspired by adventure and escape worlds.
