Cat Food (1000 pcs)

Against a bright sky-blue background, Cat Food turns the pantry shelf into a full-blown feline showcase: every everyday package, from the sardine tin to the milk carton, has been reimagined with a mischievous cat face. A tin of sardines in olive oil shows a cat casually paddling a little boat on its label, while a jar of green olives and a pouch of miso paste each carry their own whiskered mascot. Further along, a bottle of naturally brewed soy sauce and a bottle of hot sauce both feature pink cats with piercing eyes, while a honey jar and a bag of fruit gums add their own sweet, colourful touch to the scene. The centrepiece is a milk carton illustrated with a brown cat sitting upright, a straw planted in a tall glass, right next to a loaf of bread, where a huge orange tabby cat takes centre stage. A bottle of mayonnaise, a sleepy white chocolate bar and a jar of crispy chilli oil round out this grocery shelf, entirely redrawn by hungry cats, in a vivid palette of pink, yellow, blue and red that grabs the eye at first glance.

This 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is made in the Netherlands with a genuine eco-friendly approach: 100% recycled board, vegetable-based inks and zero plastic in the packaging. The publisher behind it also donates 1% of every sale to environmental causes through the 1% for the Planet movement.

The illustrator behind this burst of colour is Naomi Wilkinson, an artist based in Bristol whose style, inspired by Japanese woodblock prints and vintage graphics, has already caught the eye of brands like Airbnb, Etsy and the New York Times. In the same food-loving universe, she also created a mini jigsaw puzzle built around a steaming bowl of ramen and another featuring a curious cat tucked inside a shopping bag, two fun extras that extend the enjoyment of Cat Food.
