In Botanicus (FR), you play an aristocrat in the late 19th century who has purchased land, hired a gardener and set out to create the most impressive botanical garden. Visitors are picky, so you must acquire the right plants and organize them according to their preferences.

Using a unique action selection mechanism, players compete for the most valuable spots each round. You will collect plants, nurture them through four growth stages, manage water and follow the gardener’s movements, which influence your planning.

Your garden expands on a modular map, growing more beautiful and complex as the game progresses. In the end, victory goes to the player who attracts the most visitors and builds the most appealing garden. Botanicus blends clever strategy, resource management and a relaxing botanical theme.You will enjoy Botanicus if you like strategy games with elegant mechanics and a serene, nature inspired theme.
