Bomb Busters puts you on an elite bomb disposal team facing a series of missions where every decision matters. In front of you is a carefully sorted collection of numbered wires, but your teammates cannot see their values. To defuse the bomb, your team must combine logic, observation, and communication to find matching pairs hidden among the other players' wires. A successful deduction brings everyone closer to victory, while a mistake can make the mission much more difficult.

The brilliance of this cooperative board game comes from how carefully information is limited. You know your own wires and their order, but not the exact values held by your teammates. Every attempt can reveal another useful clue, gradually narrowing the possibilities. Everyone is working toward the same objective, turning the table into a shared logic puzzle where one seemingly small piece of information can suddenly make everything click.

Bomb Busters does not simply repeat the same puzzle. Its campaign includes 66 missions that gradually introduce new rules, restrictions, and surprises. Bomb Busters won the prestigious 2025 Spiel des Jahres, one of the board game industry's most recognized awards. The jury specifically highlighted its progressive learning curve, clever combination of logic and interaction, and varied missions that continually challenge established ways of thinking. Bomb Busters won the award ahead of fellow nominees Flip 7 and Krakel Orakel.

Bomb Busters was designed by Japanese game designer Hisashi Hayashi, who is also known for games such as Yokohama and Trains. The illustrations are by Canadian artist Dominique Ferland, also known as Dom2D. His colourful comic-inspired artwork gives the bomb disposal theme an intentionally playful and approachable personality.
