20 Strong : Etherfields Deck (EN)

In 20 Strong: Etherfields, your hero moves alone through a dreamscape that reshapes itself every turn, weaving unique connections between rooms that feel as evocative as they are unsettling. This deck brings the dreamlike world of Etherfields into the 20 Strong system: you spend Influence cards to trigger special actions, expanding your awareness, deploying your cunning, and unleashing your wrath to keep moving through the dream. Cards you flip along the way stay flipped from one session to the next, gradually shaping a deck that becomes truly your own, the exact sum of every decision you've made. As in the rest of the 20 Strong system, every challenge is resolved by rolling 20 custom dice, in a solo game that sets up fast but still demands real strategy to track down and defeat every hidden boss Etherfields has to offer.

You'll likely love 20 Strong: Etherfields if you already know the 20 Strong system and want a brand new story to explore solo, in 30 to 45 minutes per session. Fans of narrative games and replayability will enjoy a deck that truly evolves from one game to the next, since every flipped card changes the rest of the adventure for good. It's also a natural pick for anyone who loved the dreamlike mood of the original Etherfields board game and wants to revisit it in a fast, portable card format.

This deck is part of a trilogy of collaborations between Chip Theory Games and Awaken Realms, bringing the dreamlike world of Etherfields into the 20 Strong system alongside the Nemesis and Tainted Grail decks. It keeps the core idea of the original board game alive: a deck of cards that permanently transforms based on the player's choices, for an experience that's almost unique to every copy.

20 Strong: Etherfields is designed by Josh J. Carlson, the creator of the 20 Strong system and of Too Many Bones, joined this time by Salem Scott to adapt the dreamlike world of Etherfields to the system's fast rules.

This deck is additional content: you need to already own a core box of the 20 Strong system, with its dice and chips, to be able to play it. This deck alone is not enough for a game.
