Once upon a time there was a witch who lived alone in her house deep in the forest. Her favorite pastime was baking delicious gingerbread; in fact, she loved gingerbread so much that she used it to build her whole house! Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one who adored him! Fairy tale characters passing by gnawed at its walls, windows and doors! One day the witch decided she had had enough of them and, paying attention to the types of gingerbread these greedy intruders liked the most, she had an idea on how to get rid of one. once and for all...

In Gingerbread House, you place domino-like tiles in a 3-by-3 grid, covering symbols that provide you with four different types of gingerbread and special actions. Tiles can also be placed on top of existing tile types, forming a 3D structure in front of you. Covering two identical symbols is very useful, as it allows you to get a bonus gingerbread or action. Victory points are awarded for building the tallest structure, completing orders, as well as being the fastest to complete certain objectives. At the end, the player with the most victory points wins!
