Blood Rage: Valhalla - Road to Helheim Expansion (EN)

Ragnarok has reshaped the realms, but the war among the gods never truly ends at Valhalla. With the Blood Rage: Valhalla - Road to Helheim expansion, the battlefield stretches all the way to the icy gates of the realm of the dead, and every clan arrives looking for even greater glory. This expansion adds a sixth playable clan, the Ram Clan, thrown into the fray to shake up the balance of power set by the core game. Players also gain three new gods ready to bless - or punish - their warriors, and twelve new monsters that make every battle on the board more unpredictable. In total, more than 100 new cards slide into the deck to refresh strategies, combos and surprises from one game to the next.

Road to Helheim is for you if you already own Blood Rage: Valhalla and want to extend the experience without starting from scratch. This expansion is built for groups who already enjoy direct clashes between Viking clans, tight card drafting and territory control, but who want more variety from one game to the next: more gods to call upon, more monsters to face, and a brand new clan with its own distinct strengths to master.

Fun fact: Blood Rage: Valhalla takes place after Ragnarok ends the world, in this standalone sequel to the celebrated Blood Rage. Road to Helheim is the first major expansion of this new era, built to welcome more gods, more monsters and more clan strategies to the same table.

This expansion comes from designer Eric M. Lang, creator of the original Blood Rage and of other genre favorites such as Rising Sun and Ankh: Gods of Egypt. His signature shows clearly in Road to Helheim: a tight balance between territory strategy, hand management and direct clan confrontations.

Road to Helheim is not a standalone game: this expansion requires the Blood Rage: Valhalla core game to be played, since it adds content to the existing system rather than offering a self-contained experience.
