The Anarchy takes you into the heart of England’s darkest years: the civil war that erupted after the death of King Henry I in 1135. Players act as nobles loyal to King Stephen, vying to prove their loyalty and bravery in a divided land. Over five rounds, you must expand your domain, fortify your castle, withstand attacks from the Angevin armies, and launch sieges against strongholds loyal to Empress Matilda. Every move matters: your card choices, your resources, and your siege strategies will decide whether you become King Stephen’s most trusted ally.
