Sagrada (FR) takes you into the luminous world of the master stained-glass artisans of the famous Sagrada Familia basilica. Your challenge is to create a harmonious stained-glass window using translucent dice as individual pieces of glass. Behind its spectacular table presence is a family board game that is easy to learn yet offers a wonderfully satisfying puzzle to master.

Over 10 rounds, you select dice from a shared draft pool and carefully place them in your window. Every die has a colour and a value representing its shade. Your stained-glass pattern imposes specific placement restrictions, and dice sharing the same colour or value can never be placed next to each other horizontally or vertically. As your window fills, this dice placement game becomes an increasingly challenging puzzle where every decision can create a new opportunity... or block an essential space.

Scoring requires more than simply completing your window. Public objectives reward specific patterns and arrangements, while a private objective encourages you to develop a strategy of your own. Tool cards also provide valuable ways to manipulate dice or work around certain restrictions by spending Favour Tokens. With Window Pattern cards offering different difficulty levels and objectives that vary between games, every play presents a fresh puzzle to solve.

The 2026 edition refreshes this modern classic originally released in 2017. The rules have been revised, and the number of dice used now scales according to the number of players. Sagrada also remains a recognized family game: Floodgate Games reports more than 500,000 copies sold and identifies it as a Top 50 Family Game on BoardGameGeek.

Sagrada was designed by Adrian Adamescu and Daryl Andrews. This edition also credits Brigette Indelicato, Kwanchai Moriya, and Peter Wocken for its artwork. Together, the gameplay and visual design give this dice drafting game an instantly recognizable personality as the table gradually fills with colourful stained-glass creations.
