After ten long years of war against Troy, Odysseus hopes for only one thing: to return home and reunite with his loved ones. But the gods have decided otherwise. On his journey back to Ithaca, a thousand trials await the hero: enchanting sirens, fearsome cyclopes, capricious gods, and spellbinding goddesses stand in his way. In Odysseus, you take on the role of Athena, guiding Odysseus through each of these trials. Every victory is one step closer to home, and every choice you make determines the fate of the most legendary hero in Greek mythology.

On each turn, you play Challenge cards to face the dangers threatening Odysseus' ship, collect Favor of Athena tokens to aid the hero, and complete Epic tiles that tell, step by step, the story of his long voyage home to Ithaca. The game can be played in solo mode against an Automa or with up to five players around the table, for quick 25-minute sessions that feel different every time thanks to the variety of trials to overcome.
