From the first glance, MicroMacro Puzzle Football (FR) drops you into the buzz of a big match day. The illustration, drawn in the fine black-and-white line art that is the signature of the MicroMacro universe, unfolds a densely packed isometric view of the neighborhood around the stadium: a tightly packed crowd of fans climbs a sloped street toward the stands, cars are parked along the sidewalks, shops and terraces line the way, while a park lined with tall trees gives the scene a bit of breathing room at its edge. Every corner of the image hides dozens of tiny characters in distinct poses: a fan proudly waving a flag above the crowd, kids running with a ball, street vendors, promising hours of observation once the 500 pieces are assembled. Because behind all that festive buzz hides a plot: among all these cheering fans, a thief has slipped into the crowd, and it is only once the puzzle is finished that the real investigation begins.

This neighborhood was not invented at random: it reuses the setting of the second chapter of the series, MicroMacro: Full House, drawn from the world of MicroMacro: Crime City, a cooperative investigation game that won multiple awards, including Game of the Year in Germany in 2021. Beyond the assembly itself, the box adds a search-and-find sheet with more than 40 missions along with two exclusive investigations to download, turning the finished puzzle into a real playground for young detectives.

The artwork is signed by Johannes Sich and his studio Hard Boiled Games, the creators of the MicroMacro series, recognizable by their fine-line style and their densely detailed urban scenes.
