Nocturion takes you into a dark fantasy realm where the Evergreen Empire teeters on the edge of annihilation. The elemental invasion has just been repelled, and young Emperor Alexius IV is trying to restore wealth and dignity to his people. Alone, he cannot succeed: the great noble houses hold the power and resources, but their rival interests keep them from working together. You take command of one of these houses and must prove yourself the most loyal and worthy to stand beside the Emperor.

In this dark, medieval-themed worker placement game, your dice become your workers: every roll determines which actions your house can take to complete the Emperor's quests. Gather resources, recover your lineage's legendary heirlooms, and forge a beast army with asymmetric powers to dominate the realm. The house with the most victory points wins Alexius IV's favor and rises as first among equals.

The game also features a rare mechanism where the dice themselves act as workers to place, a twist on classic worker placement that adds a healthy dose of tactical uncertainty to every turn.

Nocturion was designed by George Skourtis, with artwork by Damien Mammoliti, an artist known for his work on the game Brass.
