Wasgij Mystery efteling, L'Univers enchanté! (1000pcs)

On the box of this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle, the whole enchanted world of Efteling park comes to life in front of you. In front of an imposing fairytale castle, a crowd gathers near an ornate lamppost and a mushroom-shaped little house, while a green dragon climbs a ride tower and roller coaster loops trace their curves across the sky. At the centre of the scene, Pardoes, the park's magic jester mascot, waves his sparkling twinkle torch in front of stunned visitors, including a mom with a stroller who jumps at the burst of light.

But watch out: with a Wasgij puzzle, you never rebuild the image printed on the box. The name Wasgij is simply the word jigsaw spelled backwards, and the Mystery format pushes the idea even further: you have to imagine and assemble the scene that unfolds in the minutes after Pardoes' gesture, not the one shown in front of you. A real imagination challenge on top of the classic 1000-piece build!

This puzzle comes from an official collaboration between Jumbo and Efteling theme park in the Netherlands, a world of fairy tales and fantastical creatures. Pardoes, the central character in the scene, is the park's official jester mascot, easily recognized by his red and yellow diamond-pattern costume; this puzzle was actually launched alongside a board game and another Efteling puzzle as part of this same partnership. The pieces are precision die-cut from environmentally friendly recycled board, adding a nice touch to the fun.
