At the start of each round, everyone gets a code card, then two dice are rolled to find the exact square of the secret word on the topic card, which shows 16 related words (countries, foods, jobs and more). The Chameleon has no idea which of those 16 words is the right one.

In turn, each player says a single word related to the secret word. Too vague, and the Chameleon blends right in; too obvious, and the Chameleon figures it out. After the clue round, everyone votes on who looks suspicious. If the Chameleon is caught, they get one last chance to guess the secret word and turn the game around.
