space-base-genesis-en
Space Base: Genesis (EN)

Space Base: Genesis propels your fleet even further by pouring a fresh wave of content into the hit dice game Space Base. Every turn you roll the dice, watch your opponents scoop up their own rewards, and patiently grow your orbital empire, one card at a time. This expansion enriches the experience with three brand new sets of Colony cards covering sectors 1 through 12, tougher level 3 Ship cards, and an entirely new "on-purchase" bonus mechanic: certain ships reward you the instant you place them on your board, forcing you to weigh a quick payoff against long-term income. The result is more variety and replayability for Space Base regulars, without adding extra rules or slowing down new players.

Space Base: Genesis is for you if you already own Space Base and crave fresh starship cards, new combos, and games that never play out the same way twice. You'll also love this expansion if you enjoy quick-to-set-up engine builders where every dice roll moves the whole table forward, no matter whose turn it is.

Fun fact: Space Base: Genesis' designer John D. Clair himself calls it the best of Space Base's three major expansions, leaning on generous card variety rather than piling on complex new rules.

Space Base: Genesis comes from designer John D. Clair, also known for the acclaimed Mystic Vale and the entire Space Base series, alongside illustrator Chris Walton, who brings this new batch of ships and colonies to life.

Heads up: Space Base: Genesis is not a standalone game, it's an expansion.
