Winner of the Special Prize Spiel der Spiele Games of 2015

In Patchwork, two players compete to create the most aesthetically pleasing (and striking) patchwork on a personal 9x9 game board. To start playing, arrange all the patches randomly in a circle and place a marker directly clockwise from patch 2-1. Each player takes five buttons - the in-game currency/points - and someone is chosen as the starting player.
