dnd-rpg-2024-monster-manual
DND RPG - 2024 Manuel des monstres (FR)

*French version

Dungeons & Dragons steps into a new era with the 2024 Monster Manual (FR), a full overhaul of the fifth edition's official bestiary. In a game master's hands, this hefty hardcover becomes a fearsome weapon: over 500 creatures are waiting inside, from the humblest goblin to legendary dragons, by way of mind flayers and cosmic behemoths. Every Dungeons & Dragons 5e stat block has been reworked for faster play at the table, with clearer layouts, rebalanced abilities, and entirely new artwork that gives fresh bite to classics and newcomers alike. This bestiary is not a simple update: it is the largest ever published for D&D, built to spark memorable encounters in every campaign, whether pulled from an official module or improvised on the spot.

The 2024 Monster Manual is for you if you are a game master who wants to populate dungeons without juggling ten supplements at once, or a curious player who likes knowing the strengths (and weaknesses) of whatever lurks in the dark. It suits tables still running on the 2014 books just as well as those starting fresh with the revised 2024 manuals, since everything stays compatible from one edition to the next.

A few facts fans will appreciate: this tome is the largest official bestiary ever published for D&D, with 75 brand-new creatures and nine new predators built for very high-level play, including the arch-hag and the blob of annihilation. The chromatic and metallic dragons, franchise icons for decades, received a complete artistic overhaul. The book completes the trio of core rulebooks revised in 2024, alongside the Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's Guide, and the French edition followed the English release by a few months.

Creative direction on this overhaul falls to Jeremy Crawford, lead designer at Wizards of the Coast on the Dungeons & Dragons line for several years, joined by F. Wesley Schneider as co-lead designer. Their work builds on the original 2014 Monster Manual by Christopher Perkins and his team, reworked from the ground up for this new generation of gaming tables.

This bestiary needs no app and no batteries: it is meant to be opened right at the table. It shines alongside the Player's Handbook 2024 (FR) and the Dungeon Master's Guide 2024, the other two pillars of the revised fifth edition, but a game master can just as easily use it alone as a library of encounters, no matter which edition of the other books sits on the shelf.

CONTENTS
Over 500 creatures from the official Dungeons & Dragons bestiary
Over 75 brand-new monsters
9 new predators for high-level play, including the arch-hag and the blob of annihilation
New variations on classic creatures, such as the primeval owlbear and the vampire familiar
Over 40 ready-to-use humanoid profiles for NPCs
Reworked and rebalanced stat blocks for every creature
Entirely new artwork throughout, including redesigned chromatic and metallic dragons
384 pages, hardcover

Pages: 384
Recommended age: 12+

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0621/5847/1419/files/dnd-rpg-2024-manuel-des-monstres-fr-jeux-des-et-jeux-de-roles-livres-1260694779.jpg?v=1790896873
