Smaug poured it some tea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter two hours, the basilisk tried to bite. Smaug held out a cookie at that very moment, and it bit the cookie. The cookie turned to stone. Smaug found it “a little dry.” After four hours, the basilisk was crying. After six hours, it spat all its venom into the teapot out of sheer despair and slithered away as fast as it could.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSmaug looked into the teapot. The basilisk’s venom had crystallized into seven small pieces, split into two colours: the blue of fear and the green of the snake, with golden glints like its eyes. She added them to her collection.
