20-strong-awaken-realms-core-set-includes-nemesis-deck-en
20 Strong: Awaken Realms Core Set (includes Nemesis Deck) (EN)

The ship that was supposed to bring you home just turned into a death trap. In 20 Strong: Awaken Realms Core Set, you explore darkened corridors, dodge starving intruders, and try to bring the ship's vital systems back online before the noise you make draws out whatever is lurking in the shadows. Every card you flip is a new challenge: a jammed door, a generator to restart, a threat you settle with a roll of the dice.

This set is a complete entry point into the 20 Strong system by Chip Theory Games, a small nucleus of simple, modular rules that adapts to a wide range of different worlds. You do not need to own anything else: the box already has everything you need to play, including the Nemesis deck, inspired by the survival-horror mood of Awaken Realms' cult hit Nemesis. You move card by card, rolling your pool of combat dice, managing your HP, your Strategy and your Recovery, until you face the final boss who seals your fate.

Alone, you fight for survival in a classic, unforgiving solo dice game. But the Nemesis deck goes further: it can also be played in semi-cooperative mode with up to three players, each hiding their own objectives. A crewmate in a hurry to reach an escape pod might just decide to leave you behind... The push-your-luck tension never lets up: roll one die too many and exhaust yourself before the next card, or play it safe and risk missing the reward.

You will probably enjoy 20 Strong: Awaken Realms Core Set if you are after a fast solo experience (45 to 60 minutes) that is easy to set up on a corner of the table and runs on dice and pressure-filled decisions. And if you also like the idea of inviting two friends over for a game where trust can turn on you, the included Nemesis deck answers that call too.

The 20 Strong system has delivered on its promise since day one: a shared handful of rules dressed up in a new theme with every deck, without ever changing the core mechanic. This set marks the arrival of the Awaken Realms worlds in the collection: after Nemesis, decks based on Tainted Grail and Etherfields, two other Awaken Realms creations, are also joining the 20 Strong family. The player community has given a very warm welcome to both the base system and the Nemesis deck.

The 20 Strong system is designed by Josh J. Carlson, who also co-designed the Nemesis deck with Logan Giannini for this take on Awaken Realms' survival-horror universe.

BOX CONTENTS
20 Strong: Nemesis Deck
20 Molded Dice
1 Chip and Chip Holder
1 Rulebook

Number of players: 1 to 3
Duration: 45 to 60 minutes
Age: 14 and up

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0621/5847/1419/files/20-strong-awaken-realms-core-set-includes-nemesis-deck-en-jeux-solo-1261161360.png?v=1791213734
